This is an active group within our church!  There are monthly luncheons and outings planned.  Please check the "What's Going On" section of the website for upcoming events. 

This group is frequently referred to as just S.A.M.  All adults 55 and over are welcome to our events and do not have to be a part of Cheviot UMC. Our purpose for meeting is fellowship with other seniors, enjoying special events together, supporting one another and growing together as a group of seniors in Christ.

We meet the third Friday of each month for a catered luncheon and a special program. The cost of the luncheon is always $8. The time is 12:30-2:00.  Reservations are required for all of our events.

Also our group goes on at least 4 day trips each year.  Sometimes we rent a tour bus, other times we use our mini bus.  We have taken trips to LaComedia, boat rides with luncheon on the Ohio River, a tour of the Toyota plant in Georgetown, KY and trips to places like Bear Creek outside of Bryant, IN. to eat and see a play.  We have also gone to Berea, KY and Museums of various kinds.
